An Australian company uSocial.net charges you for spamming on Facebook and Twitter and find fans and friends for you.
Their charges are somthing like: from $177.30 for +1000 fans to $1167.30 for +10,000 fans. Interesting concept:
- but are you really interested in those fans who just click “Accept” on any invite they receive on Facebook’s request page?
- and if you really are then how much effort does it really take to invite 1000 friends?
- and is that effort really worth that much money?
Well! may be it is for some non-techy people, but who is now not aware of Facebook or finds it difficult to use it? I don’t think anyone from the potential list of customers of uSocial. OR…
…May be Aussies!?!

Facebook has announced some privacy changes to comply with Canadian laws; these changes will though affect everyone.

These won’t be applied straight away, but should be expected in next 12 months.
Applications will be required to more specifically tell users what type of information they are accessing, both from their profile and from those of their friends.
Facebook will more clearly distinguish between deactivating an account, which keeps your data on the site for potential future reactivation, and deleting it completely. The company also plans to further detail what happens to deceased user’s accounts.
There will be clearer explanation of how Facebook plans to use certain types of data – like birthdays – and how the company tailors its advertising to specific users.
Regarding ‘deleting the account‘ it does not clearly say if all the user information like images, etc will be deleted? Anyways, I personally would like to see these changes implemented soon.
